Foster Ducks

They’re still here : )  Our orphaned wild mallard foster ducklings started flapping their wings today, so I don’t think it will be long before they fly the coop. There’s a really big lake next door – I’m sure they’ll be glad to have more space to swim in than the kiddie pool once they discover it, but I’m starting to get a little sad. I’ll miss them when they go. Hopefully they’ll at least come back and visit.
